In 1977, representatives from the 25 GCA clubs listed below met with Betsy Barlow Rogers (then the head of the Central Park Task Force) to discuss replanting of the gardens and raising funds for the fountain and statuary in the Conservancy Garden. Today, these original 25 plus additional clubs from Zones II, III, and IV support projects in the 5 boroughs of New York City through their participation with the New York Committee.
